Ultimate Edge by Kasho Kasho scissors feature two different stainless steel alloys in order to meet the high Japanese quality demands for sharpness and material. The combination of different hardness grades means that every pair of scissors is perfectly balanced and guarantees that the cutting edge is exceptionally durable. The unique “Ultimate Edge” Kasho scissor blades guarantee that they are a pleasure to work with and cut accurately. The unique manu- facturing process ensures the necessary precision of the concave inner surfaces (hollow ground) and convex outer surfaces of the scissor blades. These blades are honed to an extremely sharp state with the inner side hollowed to such a point that the blades only touch at the point of intersection. This refined technology ensures superb cutting edge durability, while at the same time reducing cutting edge resistance to a minimum and thus considerably limiting hand fatigue. Diese Schneiden entstehen im exklusiven Fertigungsverfahren, das die erforderliche Präzision der konkaven Innenseiten (Hohlschliff) und konvexen Außenseiten der Scherenblätter sicherstellt. Die konvex- geschliffenen Scherenblätter zeichnen sich durch außergewöhnliche Schnitthaltigkeit aus. Diese Scherenblätter werden durch Ziehschleifen auf extreme Schärfe gebracht. Zudem sind die Innenseiten so hohlgeschliffen, daß sich die Schneiden nur am Schnittpunkt berühren. Diese Technik garantiert nicht nur eine optimale Schnitthaltigkeit, sondern verringert auch gleichzeitig den Widerstand des Schneidens auf ein Minimum, was die Ermüdung Ihrer Hand auf ein Mindestmaß begrenzt.

L‘association de différentes classes de dureté permet, pour chaque paire de ciseaux un équilibre parfait et l’obtention d’un bord de coupe au tranchant extrêmement durable. Le « tranchant absolu » unique des lames de ciseaux Kasho donne du plaisir au travail grâce à la précision de la coupe. Un processus de production unique assure la précision indispensable pour l’obtention des surfaces internes concaves (courbure de base) et des surfaces convexes externes des lames de ciseaux. Les bords convexes des lames de ciseaux se caractérisent par une durée de vie exceptionnelle du tranchant. On donne à ces lames un affûtage, sur la face interne creusée, tellement tranchant que les lames n’entrent en contact qu’au seul point d’intersection. The Kasho Hair Styling Scissors are made in different handle configurations – offset, semi- offset and straight. With the offset handle, you can work with your shoulders straight and elbow down, using minimal wrist movements. The semi-offset is a comfortable compromise between the offset and straight models. When working with the semi-offset or offset models, the shoulders remain straight and the elbows are not raised, putting far less strain on the wrist. Ein wichtiger Punkt bei der Auswahl einer Schere ist die Ergonomie. Durch spezielle ergonomische Formen entlasten Sie die Musku- latur und beugen Verspannungen oder sogar Entzündungen vor. Die Griffform eines semi-offset Modells ist ein gelungener Kompromiss zwischen einem offset ergonomischen Modell und der bekannten geraden Ausführung. Beim Arbeiten mit der semi-offset oder offset- Ausführung bleiben die Schultern gerade und der Ellbogen nach unten gerichtet. Dadurch wird das Handgelenk weitaus weniger belastet. Disc Operation System Every pair of KASHO scissors is supplied with optimal tension settings; these do, however, occasionally need to be checked and readjusted as required, to ensure the durability of the cutting edge and to guarantee ease of use. Most KASHO scissors are therefore fitted with a tension adjustable screw to ease re-adjustment. The patented Disc Operation System ensures that the KASHO Millennium and XP Series are always perfectly tensioned. This sophisticated screw system consists of an enclosed ball bearing unit, a special spring and a synthetic disc that ensures uniform pressure and incredibly smooth operation. The enclosed ball bearing is free from collecting hair, dust and other substances so that nothing may affect the precise movement of the scissors, whilst the synthetic disc between the upper and lower blades minimises friction and wear of the blades. Thanks to this complex Disc Operation System with a replaceable synthetic disc the Millennium and the XP-Series have a considerably longer life span than any conventional models. Thanks to its unique design the SlideCut scissors enable smooth cutting performance without manual pressure, and perform a truly incomparable cutting motion. Like the flawless swordsmanship of the Samurai, every cut with these scissors is created by a symbiosis of fluid pulling and cutting movements. With conventional scissors the cut is only performed when the blades sliding past each other close. The SlideCut scissors follow a different principle and add an unprecedented, fatigue-free cutting action to the previous principle of rigidly closing scissors. Guided on specially made micro ball bearings, the upper blade slides forward when the scissors open, and back again when they close. This innovative combination of simultaneous pulling and cutting ensures an exceptionally sharp and precise cut, even in the case of dry hair. The 6.5“ scissors are made of SG2, a powder-metallurgical sintered steel with a consistent material hardness of 61-62 HRC right to its core. GREEN SERIES グリーン シリーズ The Green Series is forged from high carbon VG-10W steel. With convex hollow ground blades honed to a fine mirror polish. The Green Series is designed with a ball bearing tension system. This feature reduces friction and allows you to power through a large section or thick hair, while reducing any fatigue on the fingers and thumb. Performance is excellent with a very solid feel in your hand. The Green Series includes the texturizers, where the teeth are so shaped by up-to-date erosion technique that each tooth meets the cutting edge at the same angle. The gaps between the teeth are tapered towards the inside of the teeth blade, which prevents a tangle of hair when pulling out. The convex blades are mirror polished. Available in two offset sizes this is a scissor for a stylist that wants to experience affordable quality. Forged from VG10-W steel the hardness and foundation of the Impression scissor is similar with that of the more expensive Green or XP series. The basic screw system allows for easy tension control and the beautifully balanced hollow semi-convex blades come with a matt finish. This is a great value range which surpasses its counterparts.
